Homestays
The Homestay Programme runs alongside our Residential Holiday Camps.
To gain a Homestay placement you must first book a place on a Residential Camp and state you would like the Homestay option. We will then endeavour to find you an appropriate Host Family.
It is quite common for children to split their time between staying at the School and with their Host Family e.g. 1 Week stay at the School and 1 Week stay with Host Family.
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm they will attend our L&E Activity Camp at Malsis School where they can study English Language in the morning and choose an Activity Course in the afternoon (alternatively they can choose to do not do English Language and do an additional activity if they wish).
The rest of the time they will then be in the care of their host family where they will truly gain the “English” experience.
We will ensure that all the needs of your child are met and offer parents peace of mind and security in the knowledge that there is always someone there looking out for their safety and welfare.
Our UK Homestay programme offers a total care package from day one of a student’s stay in the UK and throughout their study period.
An important part of our job is to find an appropriate host family for your child. The Host family will have children of a similar age who will also attend our L&E Activity Camp. Our host families are all personally selected by director, Samuel Ridgway. They are regularly visited as well as the official legal checks. We will even put you in contact with the family before your child/children’s stay.
